BJP MLA Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli Dares Party Bosses to Expel Him

In a direct confrontationist stance, Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli, a BJP MLA, on Saturday challenged the party leaders to expel him if they had the nerve.

On Friday, the district unit of the party had recommended to the state unit that three leaders including Sooryakant Nagamarapalli be sacked from party, while also seeking action against MLA Nagamarapalli.

Reacting to the step, Nagamarapalli said that he had not benefited from the party, but on the other hand the party had gained because of him. The district unit has accused him of anti-party activities and having helped the Congress party in the recent elections.

He added that if he indeed had helped Congress, Dharam Singh would have won from the constituency.
